Islands Discovered: How I fell in love with Oahu

I first visited Oahu in 2016. We were new members of the Disney Vacation club and did a recon trip in January before a big family trip in April. Prior to this trip, I didn't really care about Hawaii. After a rather disastrous trip to Maui thanks to some unwelcome drama, I was set on the idea that "I don't care about Hawaii."
Boy, was I wrong. We only had a few days and I'm so glad we went. Yes, it was Disney. But it was so well incorporated into the Island culture that the feeling of true ohana and aloha enveloped us when we walked through the door. This was a good start.
We relaxed, toured around, ate good food (see, there's that food thing again.) We listened to music from our room and watched the sunset.
And these are my favorite places on Oahu.
